Christine Bleakley supports Cheryl Cole

WAGs UNITE as Christine Bleakley the One Shoe host has reportedly comforted former WAG Cheryl Cole about her split from her husband Ashley.

The One Show host, who is currently dating Ashley’s Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard, is said to have consoled the singer backstage at Sport Relief on Friday night.

After claiming that she herself was not a WAG she does a very good job of mixing and mingling with her fellow WAG’s.

According to the Daily Star, Bleakley approached Cole after noticing that she was tearful during her performance of her single ‘Parachute’.

“She could see Cheryl was quite emotional,” a source said. “And she wanted to make sure everything was OK. She spent a good ten minutes with Cheryl in her dressing room and they got on really well.

“Christine is Queen WAG at Chelsea now she is dating Frank and it’s clear she gave Cheryl her full support and that of all the other girls at the club. It made Cheryl feel great to know she was still part of the gang despite everything that has happened with her and Ashley. Ashley probably got a bit of a verbal bashing in there!”

Abigail Clancy – Wedding will have to wait until after the World Cup.

Abigail Clancy the next WAG to be ditched for the World Cup.

At the moment not only have WAG’s got to deal with all the usual media hysteria surrounding them, but they have also got to deal with rumors of their partners’ cheating and now to they are also facing a lonely summer as their footballers are announcing that “football comes first!”

Poor Abby Clancy has become the next WAG to be ditched this summer and her hubby has also decided that their wedding will just have to wait, as Peter Crouch has now come out stating: “No marriage this summer. The World Cup is the most important thing.”

He also added: “When you are a kid, you dream of playing for England, dream of playing in a World Cup. But there were times – certainly at the start of my career – when you can’t imagine it.”
“There are players out there who you know are going to be world-beaters right from the start… Stevie Gerrard, Wayne Rooney. I had to go along a different road,” he added.

We were looking forward to a wedding this year for WAG Abigail Clancy but it looks like that’s going to have to wait!

ALEX CURRAN learned that her £175,000 motor is not exempt from parking fines.

Alex Curran was seen showing off her brand new Aston Martin.

The Aston Martin is exactly the same as the one driven by Daniel Craig in the last James Bond film Quantum of Salace. Isn’t Alex a lucky girl?

Curran stepped out showing off a radiant tan from her recent Dubai trip, the gorgeous model clasped a practical oversize handbag emblazoned with a skull logo as she looked lovingly at husband Steven.

One passing shopper said: “With all the news of footballers cheating on wives, its lovely to see these two so obviously in love.

“Steven still looks so proud of Alex, you can see how much they love each other from the way they look at each other, it’s really great to see.

“His England team-mates could learn a lot from him, and they’re a great example of family values for young people.”

But then the couple went and flouted the law by parking her brand new Aston Martin DBS Convertible on double yellow lines in Liverpool.

She certainly paid the price when a traffic warden slapped a fine on her windscreen.

One onlooker said: “Alex really does have everything – stunning looks, amazing husband, and now this beautiful car.

“She looked just like a Bond girl as she got out, even wearing casual clothes she manages to look gorgeous and make an entrance.

“You could see everyone stop to stare as she pulled up.”

Maybe next time Mrs Curran will think twice before thinking the law doesn’t apply to her.

Cheryl Cole- Will she or won’t she?

Cheryl Cole’s estranged husband Ashley Cole plans to win her back using a memory book.

According to sources the book will contain all the “happy times” the couple shared.

The book will include the best bits from their time together. It will be filled with pictures and mementos from their three-and-a-half year marriage and is his latest attempt to win back Cheryl’s love.

A source said: ‘Ashley is desperate to get Cheryl back for good. He is trying everything. He adores her and let’s not forget that Cheryl was madly in love with Ashley.

‘It is extremely telling that neither Cheryl nor Ashley have contacted divorce lawyers yet.

‘Ashley’s mother Sue has been trying to reconcile the pair and has acted as go-between, but Cheryl’s view is that it is her and Ashley who make the decisions and no-one else.’

The couple are due to meet this Easter break, the meeting appears to be the latest attempt by the pair to try and repair their rocky marriage. 

Rose Bettenson, a nutritionist and wellbeing expert, said Mrs Cole’s health was at risk as a result of such severe weight loss.

She said: ‘It’s very common for people whose relationship have broken down to either lose or gain a lot of weight,’ she said. ‘These situations can often lead to a loss of appetite.

‘Having such a low body weight can lead to problems such as dry skin, hair and energy loss and long-term, hormonal imbalance and infertility.

‘Cheryl is in her twenties, so it wouldn’t take long for her to put the weight back on if she chose to’.

Coleen Rooney – Ladies Day Preperations

WAG, Coleen Rooney is spotted out and about shopping in her favourite boutique, Cricket, in Liverpool.

For the mother-of-one this wasn’t just an ordinary shopping spree, Coleen was looking for the perfect dress to wear to the Grand National.

And as the judge of the prestigious ‘Best Dressed’ competition Coleen Rooney needs to make even more of an impact than her fellow race goers.

With just two weeks to go until the Grand National there is no doubt that everyone’s preparations are in full swing. Little Coleen began her preperations as she picked out an outfit that will be suitable for her to judge this years ‘Best Dressed’ the Grand National.

With a standard uniform of fake tan, feathers and 10 inch heels, Ladies’ Day at Aintree is one day not to be missed.

Coleen took the process very seriously as she spent hours trying on one designer frock after another, giving an intriguing insight into what is ahead for this year. She slipped into a blue dress with feature shoulders, a baby pink frock with gold embellishment and a strapless gown.

What Coleen eventually picks will be a closely guarded secret, but the 23-year-old is sure to want to make an impact.

Coleen Rooney – Down to earth WAG Mama

Coleen Rooney reminded us why we love her so much in recent photos of her taken leaving a Liverpool hair salon with her hair rollers still intact.

She’s never normally been one to shy away from the cameras, but this down to earth bubbly WAG tried to hide behind her mum from the camera flashes.

In skinny blue jeans, an off-white faux fur coat and sporting huge rollers in her hair, the WAG smiled to herself, embarrassed as she walked behind mum, Colette, as they made their way to their car from the Barbara Daley hair salon.

Her mother, on the other hand, showed no shame as she quickly whipped out the curler she had her fringe wrapped round as soon as she saw the cameras.

As they crossed the road to the car, Coleen was no longer hidden by her mother but she still refused to look at the cameras and turned her back as she ran to the car.

Later the new mother was seen arriving in typically glamorous fashion, with her hair sleekly styled to support husband Wayne at Manchester’s Old Trafford ground.

Let’s hope Coleen is back to her immaculate self when she presents the annual Aintree Style award at the racecourse next month. It has been revealed that Coleen will present the award to the best dressed race –goer just before the Grand National on Saturday April 10.

Alex Curran – Diet Pills?

Steven Gerrard’s WAG, Alex Curran, seems to have decided to use high risk Kelp tablets to ditch any excess weight that is destroying her confidence.

It is thought the tablets can be used to aid weight loss, but experts have warned against using them because of the lack of research into their long-term effects. The 27-year-old could be setting a bad example to young women as the pills have been blasted by health experts.

Kelp tablets are rapidly becoming the latest dangerous celebrity dieting fad.

Sion Porter, a dietician from the British Dietetic Association, said: ‘People mistakenly think that because these are natural tablets they must be harmless, but used in the wrong way they can be very dangerous.

‘The worry is that if young girls start to copy their idols, thinking this will offer them quick-fix weight loss, they are likely to make themselves very ill.

‘We would always recommend a healthy diet and an exercise plan as the ideal way to lose weight, and supplements should only ever be used in moderation to compliment a balanced eating regime.’

Last year Alex spoke in detail about her health kick after realising she was leading an unhealthy lifestyle.

She said: ‘Last year a pap took some pics of me and I had a few rolls. I’ve been eating rubbish for so many years.

‘Eating’s a boredom thing. When you’ve got nothing else to do, you just start planning your next meal.’

She managed to drop a dress size through what she said was a combination of healthy eating and gym sessions.

At the time she enthused: ‘I love the changes to my figure. I feel more confident wearing vest tops now.’

Carly Zucker and Joe Cole – Proud Parents

Carly Zucker and Joe Cole finally welcome their little baby girl into the world.

Carly Zucker, the wife of Chelsea and England footballer Joe Cole, gave birth to the couple’s first child, on Friday (March 19th).

Earlier this week the 25-year-old WAG stepped out in an attention seeking fluorescent pink top looking fit to burst.

Carly was pictured leaving Stamford Bridge football ground after watching husband Joe Cole’s team Chelsea lose to Inter Milan in the Champions League. The baby bump crying out for attention as it bulged out from under a black cardigan.

A source close to the couple told Hello magazine that they have yet to decide on a name for the new arrival and hat “It was a long labour but Carly is fine”.

The 25-year-old Wag was a constant source of inspiration for other mums-to-be during her pregnancy as she regularly wore stylish but comfortable looking maternity wear.

Baby Scarlet Zucker Cole has arrived just in time, for the new proud parents to be able to take her to watch Cole and the rest of the England squad in South Africa at the World Cup.

There is also no doubt that baby Scarlet Cole will be spoiled to within an inch of her life, quite like little baby Kai Rooney.

Victoria Beckham – Near Miss at Heathrow

Earlier this week Mega – WAG, Victoria Beckham shed a few tears at Heathrow airport.

The singer turned fashion designer apparently got tearful at the airport when she realised footballing husband David was in the same building but they were unable to say ‘Hi’.
The couple, who have been apart for the past week, were both spotted in separate parts of Heathrow Airport on Monday 22nd but their flight schedule meant they were unable to even manage a small reunion.

She had to make-do with calling him on his phone to have a chat.

‘It was upsetting for them both,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Victoria burst into tears when she realised they wouldn’t even be able to say “hi” at the airport.

‘This is the life they lead – their jobs mean they have to travel all over the world at short notice.’

David was flying back out to LA with his father, while Victoria was catching a connecting flight from the London travel hub to Moscow. Victoria, 35, was flying to Moscow for a fashion launch while David, 34, was jetting back to their LA home.

Reports suggest that Posh was upset at not being able to see her husband, who is recovering from a recent operation on his Achilles tendon, and even shed a few tears.

Victoria will be reunited with David when she flies home on Friday.
