Today’s WAG’s are however of quite a different breed and come in the shape of the original Victoria Beckham, who now has her own clothing line, fragrance and children’s line.  She has certainly come a long way since the days of figure hugging white jeans, unimaginably high heels and low cut tees.  VB now portrays nothing but effortless style and is very good at doing so, we have even spotted her in a pair of flats before!

Another WAG that has come along way is Colleen Rooney; she again is very focused on the fashion scene but more so for real woman with womanly figures, just like the one Miss Rooney has!

Abbey Clancy may now be Abbey Crouch; this doesn’t however see her relying on her husband’s status.  The leading lady is a top model as well as a TV presenter.

These are the WAGS to look up to, they are also the ones that many of us aspire to be, not because they are married to multimillionaire footballers but because they have their own minds, their own careers and their own independence.  They are also very stylish and tend to have both designers and stylists on speed dial, which makes them a great source of fashion inspiration to us!

Celebrities are certainly one of the A-list breeds to watch, they do after all have many of the infamous and also the up and coming designers on speed dial.

She will also have a front row pass to many of the Fashion Week fashion shows as well, just so that she can get in a little inspiration early!

With just less than a month to go until the arrival of their first child, the super-organised Carly Zucker and husband Joe Cole have already decided on a name for their baby girl.

A recent survey shows that, busty, page 3 babe, Nicola Tappenden is one of the top role models for young girls.

The 27 year old glamour girl and ex Big Brother contestant leads the ideal life according to 16 year olds.

Tappenden is happily engaged to Crewe Alexandra football player Simon Walton and she gave birth to their first child in November 2008, a baby girl named Poppy.

The online poll asked teenagers who they wanted to be like when they were older and found that more than half of the 1,032 sixteen year olds respondents want to be famous when they are older, instead of branching into other professions.

Despite a large proportion of the young people wanting a lifestyle to match the rich and famous, 68% said they wouldn’t know how to go about becoming a celebrity. 21% said they would try to become nationally recognised through a reality TV show such as X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent.

Of the 54% who wanted to be a celebrity in the future, only 19% felt they had enough talent to make them worthy of fame.
