Theo Walcott’s girlfriend Melanie Slade is not your average WAG. Not only does she have three A-levels but she has refused to drive the £150,000 Ferrari California Theo Walcott bought for her 21st birthday and is still using her Beetle instead.
Recently, Melanie Slade proves even further how she is not your average WAG as she has just completed designs for a charity T-shirt in aid of Cancer Research.
The pretty vest top, has a pink floral motif and is one of a series of three, the others designed by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips and fashion designer Tracey Boyd.
Arsenal Star, Theo Walcott and girlfriend Melanie Slade first met outside the shop where Mel worked at West Quay shopping mall in Southampton.
One of the couple’s first public appearances was at the launch of the Waltet Materials and RFSF Recycling commercial waste recycling centre in Hampshire.

Taking her maternity leave from the ITV2 show ‘Real Women’ in Barbados, with Kai Wayne, mum, Colette, dad, Tony and her younger brothers Joe and Anthony, Coleen juggles Kai’s toy’s and sun cream whilst looking fabulous trying to catch some sun in her designer bikinis.
An onlooker said: “She’s in great shape – it’s amazing to think that she gave birth only a few months ago.”
Since arriving in Barbados last week, Coleen has been showing off her post-baby curves in a series of designer bikinis.

Victoria has officially graduated from and finally become a real fashion icon, so it has come as a real shocker that the ex- Spice has decided to ditch her six inch heels.

The 35 year old, mother –of –three, was spotted dressed down, down, down for a shopping trip in Los Angeles over the weekend, Posh stepped out looking very casual in a T-Shirt, baseball cap, baggy jeans and a pair of brown FLIP FLOPS had replaced her signature heels.
Her more sensible choice of footwear suggests Becks’ bunions are becoming too painful to tolerate her killer heels or she has finally taken a specialists advice and packed in the heels.
Victoria has already been advised to have a bunionectomy, which involves the surgeon cutting into the toe joint then re-aligning the toe bone and securing it with screws.
VB told Women’s Wear Daily: ‘(The attention on my feet) really was embarrassing. I think I’ll have to have the surgery, but I’ve heard it’s the most painful.
‘They touched it up to make it look worse. If [my feet] were as bad as all that, I wouldn’t be able to wear these fabulous shoes by Brian Atwood.’
Despite her foot troubles, Beckham still continues to wear her killer heels for special occassions, especially designs by Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood.
Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney started dating in their final year of school when they were just 16.
In 2003 Wayne became England’s youngest football player at 17 years old, within months he purposes to Coleen with a £46,500 diamond engagement ring.
‘When we first talked about getting married we did feel too young, but not anymore,’ she says. ‘We want to spend the rest of our lives together and there’s no stronger commitment than getting married.
Later that year Coleen is left devastated when Wayne Rooney admits visiting a brothel.

After weeks of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Cheryl and Ashley Cole have separated, after her PR company posted a tweet on twitter announcing the split.
Tearful Cheryl last night returned to her £4 million mansion, where she lived with husband Ashley, where she was reportedly too upset to be visited by friends or even her mum Joan.
The split comes after explicit photos of footballer Ashley ended up on a topless model’s phone. He denied the allegations claiming that he had given away the phone and didn’t realise the pictures were still on there.
A source said: “Cheryl’s nobody’s fool. She didn’t believe a word. Then, as she suspected, more girls came forward.”
Cheryl, left Heathrow Airport after a break in LA wearing dark glasses and a trilby hat pulled down low, and was whisked away to her marital home near Godalming, Surrey.
Newspaper reports say that Cheryl ended the marriage in true modern fashion – by text. She reportedly said: “It’s over. Move out.”
Her final text to Ashley reportedly said: “You have lied, lied and lied. You disgust me. I’ll see you around”
Cole is said to have begged Cheryl for another chance and said that he would try sex rehab to try and save their marriage.
A friend said: “Ashley was distraught, crying down the phone. He just wanted his wife back and another chance. But it was too little, too late.”
“Cheryl refused to answer any of the calls and they went straight to voicemail.” the friend added.
This isn’t the first time that Ashley has cheated, in 2008 allegations surfaced that he had slept with hairdresser Aimee Walton but Cheryl forgave him and gave him another chance.
Since the picture messages were revealed, more women have come forward saying that Ashley had slept with them as well including blonde secretary, Vicki Gough, US political aide Ann Corbitt and glamour model Alexandra Taylor.
The allegations were too much for Cheryl who has finally given Ashley the boot and will hopefully put her energy into her career.
A source said: “But Cheryl is nobody’s fool – she is determined to knuckle down now and focus on her career.

But the best accessory of all was undoubtedly the red United Colours of Benetton shopping bag, which, much to Mrs Rooney’s embarrassment was coincidently an identical colour to her day dress.
Victoria Beckham has joined forces with The Council of Fashion Designers of America, (CFDA) to promote their new campaign ‘Health is Beauty’.
Promoting her recently premiered range of evening wear, she spoke how she had signed up to a campaign launched in the States to promote healthier sized models.
The ex Spice Girl spoke out on an American TV Show about underage girls, underweight girls being misrepresented in the industry and also the lack of ethnic minorities found in mainstream modelling.
“The campaign the CFDA has launched is called ‘Health is Beauty’ and they are definitely encouraging designers to work with healthier sized models,”
The interview confirmed her shared desires with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, (CFDA), for a more ‘all-inclusive’ fashion industry.
“The CFDA have reached out to designers, stylists and casting directors not to work with underage models, girls that are too thin and to be more ethnically aware,” said Beckham.
“And I don’t think we should be discriminating against someone because they are too thin or too curvy or too large or whatever it is”
Beckham, who has just received positive reviews for her fashion collection which premiered on Sunday during New York Fashion Week, said: “Most of these girls are naturally thin.”
“I had a casting last week and had some terribly thin girls come in and it wouldn’t have worked.”

Recent reports this morning have revealed that Burglars have attempted to break into the Surrey home of Cheryl and Ashley Cole early Thursday morning.
