For a high and sleek chignon like Eva Longoria, secure your ponytail high up. Rub a little gel in your hands and twist and twist the tail around itself in order to create a neat bun. Flyaways can be pinned away or smoothed down with gel.
If you like your hair loose, take a few style notes for the actress Cameron Diaz. Her glam and surf style waves are the envy of many. In order to create such a look, use a volumising moose and rough-dry the locks upside down. Go over the style with medium-sized tongs in alternative directions. Spritz hairspray onto the hands in order to create a tousled effect, this can be done by combing the style with the fingers.
Now that you have super Hollywood hair, you will need to finish the outfit with standout eyes and super-glam nails.
Rachel Weisz has this nailed. Her flawless red-carpet eyes are some of the prettiest party peepers out there.
In order to achieve a similar style, use a black eyeliner along the top lash line. You should take this slightly up and out at the ends for a more exaggerated style.
Apply a darker eyeshadow and blend it along the bottom lash line, continue this into the socket.
Finish with lashings of mascara to the top lashes; try L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara in order to create the effect of false lashes without the hassle of actually applying them.
If however you wish to achieve an even more statement look, run khol liner along the bottom inner rims and top of the eyes,, then smudge it with your fingers for a rock-chic look.
Try Contour Khol in Jet Black, which can be purchased from L’Oreal Paris make-up. This is a great investment to your make-up bag!

Some say that the day’s of WAG fashion may be over! Those that think that must not have been taking note of the likes of Colleen Rooney, Stacy and Victoria Beckham.
Every time these stylish wives and girlfriends are seen out and about, they are always donning the latest catwalk wear and designer clobber. In fact most of them have this season’s top stylists on speed dial. This is why it is usually a safe bet to take a few style notes from the WAG’s of this season!
Against all odds, the WAG’s are back in full force and have re-grouped, adjusted to the new season’s trends and are back on the game for 2011!
Many of the new season WAG’s have also dropped the image of salon loving yummy mummies and have instead taking it upon themselves to delve into new careers.
No longer are they just the footballer’s wives they are the career woman of this generation and work just as hard as the rest of us…well mostly!

If you’re a bit like me and sick and tired of seeing the World Cup being advertised absolutely everywhere, then you might be a bit sceptical of fashion site very.co.uk getting involved in the footie action. But luckily they’ve actually gone and put a unique twist on things; a World Cup inspired fashion face off at very.co.uk – which sees outfits inspired by the World cup countries go head to head to battle it out and see which country is the most stylish of them all! I think it’s a rather brilliant flash of inspiration personally.
Take for example England – they have festival inspired pieces like a summer parka and blue wellies and of course retro sunnies for that perfect festival chic look. There are plenty of union jack accessories thrown into the mix with an England Rocks tee which you can team with aged slouchy short, strappy red leather sandals and a patchwork denim bag – a perfect casual look for a day out. Or if you want to dress things up a bit then wear a cute floral one shouldered top with retro jeans and sandals for that quintessentially English rose look. With every football match we’ll see two countries pitted against each other in the fashion stakes.
Up first are of course us Brits with our ‘quirky chic’ and the ‘Preppy’ look of the USA college girl and whoever wins will go through to through to the next round. It’ll be interesting to see how people vote because the looks are quite different but equally nice – so if you want some inspiration for some new styles, this could be one World Cup theme to keep an eye on!

Headline act Cheryl Cole stole the show at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend as she played to thousands of people in blazing heat.
Opening with Fight For This Love, she looked like she was fully recovered from any romance problems with love-rat ex Ashley Cole and appeared thrilled to be on stage.
Wearing an army-style jacket, silver shorts and Michael Jackson-style shades, she said: “It’s so nice to go back.”
Launching into Three Little Words, she danced a smoochy one-to-one flamenco-style number with one of her male dancers and ended her set with Parachute.
Around 20,000 festival-goers soaked up the “incredible heat” – when Florence And The Machine and Dizzee Rascal topped the bill.
In rough-cut denim shorts, Ellie Goulding told us the crowd was “awesome” and was loving her first trip to Bangor.
And Scouting For Girls were also thrilled to be there.
Singer Roy Stride told us: “When we found out the Big Weekend was coming to Bangor we phoned our plugger to get us on the list because we have such good memories of North Wales.
The atmosphere in the crowd was buzzing with loads of fans unable to believe so many big names were in Bangor.
Michael Jones, from Caernarfon, said of X Factor’s Cheryl: “She’s stunning. I can’t believe I have seen her in the flesh. She sounds amazing and looks better.
“This is the best festival I’ve ever been to.”

Victoria Beckham ditches her poker-straight hair for sexy waves at LA fashion party.
It seems Miss Beckham, mother of 3 is trying a new look, it seems she is having a bit of an identity crisis.
The Brit running wild in the US is having what seems to be a mid life crisis.
The ex spice girl stepped out in LA at the LG Fashion After Party – with her Hollywood pal Eva Longoria – revealing her new messy bob.
Now, Posh is famous for her ever-changing hairstyles and has gone from long to cropped and back again in the last few years.
It does seem like she’s found her signature style though, after she ditched her usual poker-straight locks for sexy waves to wear with her own ‘Cloud Dress’ at the glitzy LG party.
To get this look Victoria would have had to add lots of volume to her hair.
If you want to try her style then blow dry hair using a round brush creating waves as you blast.
Then apply a volumising product to hair like Label.m Resurrection Style Dust, £10 (lookfantastic.com) which, when massaged into hair, will give optimum lift at roots.
Finish the look by lightly tonging the ends and spritzing with a strong hold hairspray

Is this for real?
Are the rumours true?
Has VB ditched her structured image and turned feminine and girly?
Victoria Beckham, girly?
This can’t be right Victoria Beckham venturing out in the streets of LA in a short frilly, patterned mini.
The former Spice Girl is ordinarily all about the structured look – pencil skirts, skinny jeans and tailored minis.
But Victoria proved – shock horror – she’s just as capable of doing floaty as she donned a pretty, frilly number for a shopping trip to Barneys of New York.
And while she was throwing one Posh convention out of the window, it seems she thought she might as well throw another out with it two – as the welcomed patterns into her wardrobe as well.
Signature Birkin bag, sunglasses and black top and killer heels were all in present and correct, though (of course).

WAG Cheryl Cole stunned audiences at Radio Ones Big Weekend.
She attracted one of the biggest crowds at the two day event.
Other performers included Dizzee Rascal, Florence & The Machine, Scouting For Girls and Justin Bieber.
MGMT, Faithless, Biffy Clyro, Ke$ha, Tinie Tempha and Plan B also appeared over the weekend.
Welsh rockers Lostprophets have different views of Cheryl though as they thought she had taken all the VIP tickets for her friends and family.
The band accused of her bringing along all her crowd and leaving no room for anyone else because she probably didn’t want “common people asking for autographs.”
Even if this was the case we would find it hard to care because we love Cheryl.
After all she is the Nations Sweetheart nd she has amazing hair and Lostprophets don’t.
But as it turns out their complaints were entirely unfounded. Silly boys!
Cheryl’s people took to the ever reliable medium of twitter to post a message that read :
“Dear Lost Prophets, Cheryl Cole did not have any family or friends at 1BW. Maybe Radio 1 thought you weren’t worthy of VIP tickets.”

Cheryl Cole hasn’t always lived the glam life.
Cheryl revels that she wasn’t comfortable getting glammed up in the early days of Girls Aloud.
The 26 year old also reveals that she wanted to keep her tomboy look.
‘I’d argue with the stylist and the girls to wear trainers all the time,’ reveals Cheryl, 26.
It took some time for the singer to get into stilettos and sexy gowns.
Cheryl admitted ‘About 3 years ago, I started to realise if you wear a pair of heels you feel more womanly. It was a “penny drop” moment,’
‘I’d snap me neck for shoes and a handbag now.’
Cole is sure she’ll grow even more confident about her own style with age.
‘I’ve got this theory that when you hit your 30s you become you forever,’ she tells Stylist. ‘I always look at women in their 30s and they’re just them, they know exactly who they are and what suits them.’

When it came to choosing between supporting her husband’s England team last night, or going to see Cheryl Cole perform with the Black Eyed Peas there was no contest.
New mother Coleen, 24, ditched her WAG duties and headed out to see her friend at the MEN Arena in a two-tiered white dress.
She added Christian Louboutin heels and teamed her ensemble with a pair of very weighty-looking earrings as she was joined by her friends.
As she watched Cheryl belt out songs from her album 3 Words, followed by the main act – U.S. group the Black Eye Peas – Wayne was at Wembley helping England defeat Mexico in a pre-World Cup friendly.
Following her stint on stage, Cheryl was seen leaving the MEN Arena via a back door, wearing a pair of pink frame sunglasses.
She has been supporting the Black Eyed Peas throughout the European leg of their world tour, which makes its way back to London for two nights on Thursday.
Coleen, who gave birth to baby Kai in November, recently revealed she had been in touch with Cheryl since her split from Chelsea player husband Ashley Cole.
She said last month: ‘I do keep in touch with Cheryl. Occasionally we will drop each other a text. Cheryl is just so nice and doing so well.’
Coleen would have danced off a little more of the baby weight that she admits she’s still carrying, but she insists she is in no rush to regain her pre-pregnancy figure.
‘I’ve still got a bit of a belly,’ she added. ‘It’s getting there, but you can’t do it too fast and to be honest I’m not too bothered about it as that’s part and parcel of pregnancy.’
